March 2019 – Our Working Together Courses have changed!!
We are taking a modular approach to achieving full Working Together certification.
Our old two day course has been replaced with a:
1) One Day Course (this remains the same content as day 1 of the old course) – The course is intended for Designated Safeguarding Leads in organisations e.g. nursery settings, schools & other settings that work with children; as well as those staff whose main job covers Safeguarding Children, such as Social Workers, Family Case Workers, Police and Health Professionals. This is a mandatory course for those professionals and is in line with Working Together 2018 and the Intercollegiate Competency Framework 2018.
2) Child Protection, Looked After Children and SMART Planning Workshop (This replaces day 2 of the old Working Together course) – for the professionals whose roles require them to attend and contribute to Child Protection Conferences, Core Groups and Looked after Children Reviews. Again it is a mandatory course for those professionals.
